Legal

Terms of Service

Draft of October 22, 2026

These terms say what you can expect from SupplierRadar and what we expect from you: it organizes public FDA records with their sources, it is not affiliated with the FDA, it is not legal advice, and every supplier decision stays with the importer.

01What SupplierRadar is

SupplierRadar organizes public records of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA): import alerts, import refusals, warning letters, inspection classifications and recalls for foreign food suppliers. It shows each fact with its date and a link to the FDA page it came from, and it can email you when a record changes.

SupplierRadar is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the FDA. It does not score or rank suppliers and does not tell you whether to buy from one.

See how the data is collected for the sources, how often each is checked and how suppliers are matched.

02Not legal advice, and your responsibility

Nothing on SupplierRadar is legal, regulatory or compliance advice. The Foreign Supplier Verification Program rule (21 CFR Part 1, Subpart L) puts the evaluation of each foreign supplier on the importer. SupplierRadar helps you find and document one input to that evaluation, FDA's public records. The evaluation and every decision stay with you and your qualified individual.

The guides on this site summarize regulations and quote them with sources. Read the source and ask a qualified professional about your situation.

03Your account

You sign in with your email address; we send a one-time sign-in link and there is no password. Give us an address you control and keep your inbox secure: anyone who can open the link can use your account.

One login is for one person, except on the Team plan, which allows up to 5 users sharing the owner's watchlist and plan. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

04Plans, trials and billing

The Free plan watches 1 supplier. Starter, Pro and Team are paid plans with 10, 50 and 200 watched suppliers. Current prices are on the pricing page; they are in U.S. dollars.

  • Trial. You can start one 14-day Starter trial per account without a card. When it ends the account returns to the Free plan unless you choose a paid plan.
  • Billing. Paid plans are billed through PayPal, monthly or yearly. Yearly billing costs ten times the monthly price. A plan renews until you cancel it.
  • Cancelling. You can cancel from the billing page. A cancelled plan keeps working until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Price changes. If we change a price, we will tell you before it applies to your next renewal.
  • Refunds. The refund terms will be stated here before launch.

05The data, and its limits

The data comes from public FDA records and may contain errors, may be out of date, and may be incomplete. Import alert lists are checked every day and the other sources every week, so a change can appear on FDA's site before it appears on ours. We show when each page was last checked.

If a record on a supplier page looks wrong, request a correction. We compare it with the FDA source and reply by email, usually within 48 hours. If FDA's own record is wrong, we show what FDA published.

A page with no import alert, refusal or warning letter means only that SupplierRadar found none in FDA's public records on the date shown. It is not a finding that a supplier is compliant.

06Acceptable use

Use SupplierRadar for your own business purposes. Please do not:

  • resell or republish our compilation of the data as a competing product, or copy the site in bulk;
  • send automated requests that put a load on the service, or try to get around the 5-supplier limit of the free check or the supplier limit of your plan;
  • probe, disrupt or try to break into the service or other users' accounts;
  • use the site to harass a business or to publish false statements about one.

FDA's records themselves are public. These limits apply to how our service and the way we organize the records are used.

07Your notes and our software

Notes you add to a watched supplier and the lists you import are yours. You give us permission to store and process them to run the service for you.

The software, design, text and the way the records are organized belong to SupplierRadar. The evaluation PDFs you generate are for your own FSVP records.

08No warranty, and limits on liability

SupplierRadar is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, that the data is complete or error-free, or that it is fit for a particular purpose.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or decisions made using the data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Some places do not allow these limits; where they do not, the law of that place applies.

09Ending the relationship

You can stop using SupplierRadar at any time and cancel a paid plan from the billing page. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms or harms the service, and we will tell you why where we can. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as the limits on liability, continue after the account ends.

10Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For a change that matters, we will email account holders and show the new date at the top of this page before the change applies to you. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

11Who to contact

For questions about these terms, reply to any email we send you or use the corrections form for questions about a record. The legal name and postal address of the company behind SupplierRadar will be added here before launch.

Open items for legal review

  • Legal entity name, postal address and a monitored contact email
  • Governing law and venue for disputes
  • Refund and chargeback terms for yearly plans
  • Whether the liability cap and the disclaimer of warranties need adjusting for consumers, or for importers in particular states
  • Wording on use of the evaluation PDF as evidence in an FSVP file

Look before you order.

Check up to five suppliers against every FDA record in one paste, no account needed. Watch the ones you buy from and get the source the day a record changes.

SupplierRadar is not affiliated with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Data comes from public FDA records and may contain errors. This is not legal advice; importers remain responsible for their supplier evaluations.
